Cake Pickup Instructions

 

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR CAKE ORDER PICKUPS!!!

 

Cake Pickup Instructions:

* Your cake will be packaged in a box to protect your cake from dust, rain, and/or foreign objects (with the exception of large/tall or gravity defying cakes that may not fit in fully closed packaging)

 

* All tall and tiered cakes will have support dowels running through them to keep them from collapsing.

 

* The best and HIGHLY recommended way to transport your cake is in the back trunk of a van, station wagon, or SUV. If none of these options are available, it is possible to transport smaller sized cakes on the floorboard of a car, however this is a last resort due to the potential damage.

 

* Under NO Circumstances should a cake be transported on a vehicle seat! (it is also Highly discouraged to transport your cake on someone's knee/lap)

 

* Please prepare the back of the pickup vehicle in advance before arrival at pickup location by clearing out any loose objects and vacuuming out any debris.

 

* It is imperative that your vehicle have a working cooling unit (Air Conditioning).

Please run it before your pickup until your car's interior is cool.

 

* Allowing pets to be in the car during a cake transport is STRONGLY Discouraged.

 

* Driver must take extreme caution, keeping the vehicle level at all times, especially when turning corners, and must avoid any sudden acceleration, cornering, or aggressive braking.

 

* Please adhere to the Agreed-Upon Pickup Time.

 

* Store Cake(s) in refrigeration until 1 hour before serving.

 

* Upon arrival at the event venue, be sure to refrigerate, or set up the cake in a cool display area away from sunlight (and away from anywhere the sunlight may move to) without delay.

 

* Please be sure to remove ALL dowels prior to cutting and serving cake!

Terms & Conditions

 

Orders totaling $75.00 or less MUST be paid in FULL at the time of order.

For orders over $75.00 I require a Non-Refundable 50% Deposit of the total cost of the order ($75.00 minimum) at the time of ordering.

The remaining balance must be paid in full TWO WEEKS Prior to the order due date.
 

Failure to Pay In Full by contracted date will be determined that client has thereby forfeit the order and no liability will be held to TabiCakes for non fulfillment of the order.

 

We understand that unexpected circumstances arise and you may need to cancel.
Cancellations of orders require a Minimum of 72 hour advance notice.
Cancellation fees will apply as these items are made just for you and will likely be discarded.

Any change in order design MUST be discussed at least TWO WEEKS prior to the order due date


Due to tedious, handcrafted nature of our products, we are unable to provide full refunds or exchange custom cakes, cake pops and cupcakes.

If you come to “pick up” and the order does not meet your expectations, we will give you a refund (minus any deposits stated as Non-Refundable).
This refund will be in place of a PayPal Refund (NO CASH or CREDIT refunds will be given)

Once an order has been picked up by customer or a designated party, it is considered "Accepted".

All products are the responsibility of the customer once it leaves TabiCakes!

We will absolutely refund you of your order if we fail to deliver your cake on the date and time stated on your contract for your wedding, or event.
If customer provides wrong date, time or address for delivery, we will NOT provide a refund.
**We will not be responsible for any additional expenses that you incur as
a result of our failure to deliver the cake. Our liability is limited to the contracted value of the cake**

If we deliver the cake to you and the cake does not meet your expectations, we will give you a refund (minus any payments/deposits stated as Non-Refundable).

Cake flavor and texture is subjective.

Refunds requested due to flavor or texture after cake has been accepted and picked up will not be honored.

You may qualify for a credit if the product is brought back to us and the quality of the cake flavor or texture is determined not to meet our standards (Our cakes are tasted daily to insure highest possible quality).

Quality determination is solely at the discretion of TabiCakes!

Keep in mind variety in temperature and humidity may impact the flavor, overall design, or texture of the cake to some degree.

Please understand we cannot control changes in texture or changes in color or shape due to weather conditions.

NOTE: If you accept any refund, you CANNOT keep the order. You only get the refund if you refuse to “accept” the order.
We will NOT negotiate a partial refund if you keep the cake. This is a “take it, or leave it” policy.

Refunds are given within 30 days upon cooperation of client.
